Benjamin Shute

Benjamin Shute (DMA, New England Conservatory; Diplom KA, HfM Freiburg) is a violinist, composer, and musicologist whose outputs include the book <emSei Solo: Symbolum? The Theology of J. S. Bach's Solo Violin Works. Having previously taught at US institutions including Dickinson College and Oklahoma City University, since 2022 he is based in Fife and teaches at the University of St Andrews Music Centre.
