Lieke Smits

Lieke Smits is a medievalist and art historian, interested in the late medieval religious imagination and devotional practices in the Low Countries. In 2020 she obtained her doctorate from Leiden University. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow of the Research Foundation Flanders, conducting her research at the Ruusbroec Institute of the University of Antwerp.
