C.M. Howell

C. M. Howell received his PhD in Systematic Theology from the University of St Andrews (2024). His work focuses on systematic theology, theological aesthetics, and the relationship between theology and the arts. He is the author of Too Sick to Pray: A Theology of Outlaw Country (Fortress Press, 2026), The Theological Aesthetics of Eberhard Jüngel: Beauty in the Absence of God (Mohr Siebeck, 2026) and co-editor of the forthcoming volumes God as the Mystery of the ‘World’?: Conceptions of the World in Hermeneutical Theology (Mohr Siebeck, 2027) and Art As Transformation: Integrative Perspectives on Aesthetics, Creativity, and Spirituality (Cambridge University Press).
